Louisa Wetland Conservation Dinner
In order to comply with Virginia Covid-19 Regulations, we will be limiting the number of attendees to 80 people and only offering Tables of 4 people this year.
83 Years of Conservation Legacy
In 1937 a group of sportsmen realized that the waterfowl of North America were in dire times. The dust bowl had left the prairies void of the wetland habitat that waterfowl needed to sustain their numbers. They knew something had to be done and they set out to make a difference. Their vision was Ducks Unlimited. Since the very first wetland project, Big Grass Marsh in Canada, Ducks Unlimited has conserved over 13 million acres of wetland habitat.
Ducks Unlimited is celebrating their 83rd Anniversary this year and the Louisa Chapter is celebrating their annual event in a new location.
The Louisa Chapter of Ducks Unlimited would like to thank all of you for your support of Ducks Unlimited and we look forward to continuing to work with you in the future to help fulfill the annual life-cycle needs of North American Waterfowl by protecting, enhancing, restoring and managing important wetlands and associated uplands.
The Ducks Unlimited Mission
Our mission is to conserve, restore and manage wetlands and associated habitats for North America’s waterfowl.
