Jacksonville Dinner

On Friday September 18th, Governor DeSantis signed the bill authorizing the first ever Florida DU license plate.   This license plate project has been a statewide effort for years in the making and we are proud to announce this opportunity to you.

A feature of this plate worth remembering is that 100% of the proceeds raised by the Florida DU license plate will be reinvested directly back into Florida waterfowl and wetland projects as required by the bill that created it. 

Regarding the plate itself, it was designed by one of the National DU Artists of 2020, Jared DuCote,  

 This is your chance to own a true piece of Florida DU History, as this piece is the basis of the Florida DU license plate.  

It is a breathtaking oil on canvas, measuring at 24”x36” which embodies the heart and soul of Florida wetlands and our conservation mission. 

 In the very near future you will begin seeing these plates all over our great State. This is your opportunity to own the original artwork which inspired it all.  

 Details of the auction:

This online Auction will run until 12:00 midnight, Wednesday October 7th.  However, the next night, October 8th, there will be an opportunity at the Jacksonville DU Banquet for the bidding to continue on their live auction.  

Highest bid at the close of the Jacksonville DU live auction, either from the online or in person bidding wins this piece. 

Additionally as part of this auction, the winner will receive a voucher for the first DU license plate of their choice, giving them advance notice ahead of everyone else in the state to have a 5 business day head start for a custom Florida DU vanity plate if they desire. i.e.  DUCK1 etc
