CO DU Volunteer Appreciation Day

WHO:
Active and soon-to-be active CO DU volunteers and officers and their families.  Yes, you can bring the kids although to keep things from turning into complete mayhem, let's keep the dogs at home unless you absolutely have no way to otherwise accommodate. 

WHERE:
Maps sent after registration but roughly speaking: on a lake north of Firestone (East of Longmont). I.e., pretty easy to get to.

WHAT:
Food, beer, BS, baggo, more BS, etc.  There will even be door prizes for all attendees including even some firearms. 
Additionally, we will cover normal state convention proceedings including:

• Announce state awards and recognize our outstanding chapters and volunteers.
• We will also briefly cover our state conservation and fundraising updates.

All of this is at no cost; food, beer, and prizes provided by CO leadership. 

WHY:
DU volunteers have worked very hard and deserve an afternoon of fun, beer and camaraderie. We will conduct only the tiniest bit of business (year in review, year ahead) but mostly, this is a celebration of and for CO DU volunteers.
 
WHEN:
Sunday, Sept 10th from 11am until ~2pm

WHAT NEXT:
You must register to come.  Basically, "buy" a $0 ticket per above so we can get a headcount.  Speaking-of, (and you all know this from your own events), don't wait until the last-minute to register; it makes it really hard on planning (translation: we don't want to run out of beer because people didn't register in time).

Note: you are recommended to bring your own chair if desired.  We will be outdoors in a camp-ground setting with lake water, a river, and possibly bugs, mud and other outdoor distractions so plan accordingly.  Kids may fish if desired (there are bluegill readily available plus some bass and a few other random species) but BYO gear; catch/release only. No swimming or watersports are available.
