Many locations are just allowing people to shoot on their own schedule.  Call your local range to set up a time.

Viking Valley Hunt Club (Ashby area).  Call 218-747-2121 to schedule a time.  Trap shooting is open to public.

Wells Rifle and Pistol Club.  Tuesday 8/25, starting at 5.  One mile west of Wells: 55595 State Hwy 109.

Rules and fine print:

Eye and ear protection is required, as well as any rules posted at the shooting location.

This will be a Lewis Class Shoot, with classes of 25 in two brackets.

Open bracket:  First place in each class will win a prize valued at $300 or more.   The prize list will be posted, but due to COVID-19 substitutions may occur as product availability changes.

Youth bracket: Open to age 19 and under.  Youth can choose which bracket they participate in. First place in each bracket will win a prize valuedat $300 or more.  The prize list will be posted (website in development), but due to COVID-19 substitutions may occur as product availability changes.  The last place finisher in each class will receive a case of Target Load to donate to the trap team or Ducks Unlimited chapter of their choice.

League scores are accepted.

Firearms: Shotguns, no chamber larger than 12 gauge can be used.

Ammunition: Factory load only.  Tracers, copper and nickel coated shot are not permitted.

Field: We encourage all shooters to use shooting ranges that adhere to standard range and target specifications as provided by the Amateur Trapshooting Association.  Weanticipate all rounds being completed from the 16 yard line.

Ties: We will break ties using a confidential formula to further discourage dishonest reporting of scores.
