Lucky Duck Bonanza Rules

This raffle is operated by Ducks Unlimited, Inc., pursuant to Iowa law.  This is considered a “Large Raffle” under Iowa law. 

Method of Awarding Prize: Each entry will be placed in a drum and 15 winners will be chosen at random from all the entries.  The drawing will occur on February 4, 2023 at the First Avenue Club in Iowa City and is open to the public.  If all 1000 tickets are sold, winners will receive 40% of the net of entry amounts, which is the maximum limit under Iowa law, in the following amounts:

·         1^st: $15,000

·         2^nd: $7500

·         3^rd: $5000

·         4^th: $2500

·         5th-10^th: $1000

·         11th-15^th: $500

DU will first subtract its actual cost of printing and promotion before payout.  Winners need not be present to win.

First, Second, and Third place winners will need to submit a W-9 prior to receiving their cash prize.

Any individual that purchases three or more tickets will be entered to win a separate prize in the form of (1) choice of the 2023 DU Guns of the Year, estimated value of $1500.  Those entries will also be placed in a drum and a winner will be chosen at random from all the entries.  The drawing will occur on February 4, 2023 at the First Avenue Club in Iowa City and is open to the public.

Prices to play: $100 per ticket with a maximum of 1000 tickets sold.  Raffle entries may not be purchased by credit card or outside of Iowa.

Entries Needed: If less than all 1000 total tickets are sold, the cash prizes will be awarded to the winners in the same proportion noted above, net of actual expenses.

Drawing Event: Winners will be drawn on February 4, 2023 at the First Avenue Club in Iowa City.  Doors will open at 2:00 with the drawing starting at 3:00.  The drawing is open to the public with free admission.
