Saturday, August 22, 2026 – Mr. Albert Flores (Retired Texas Parks & Wildlife Game Warden) has graciously agreed to return as the instructor for the Harlan Heitkamp ValueBank Texas Youth Hunter Education Course.

The course will be held at The BBQ Man Restaurant from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM and is open to youth ages 9–17. The registration and certification fee is $15 per student.

Please click the link below and share this opportunity with any young hunters in your community. Enrollment is limited to 28 students and the class fills quickly each year.

As a special bonus, a shotgun will be given away to one participant who successfully completes and passes the course exam.
